Attorney Jelica Valentine DeLaine is a native of Central Florida, who was born and raised in the Orlando area. Graduating from the University of Central Florida, she has always aspired to help those in need throughout her community. Attorney DeLaine graduated Cum Laude from the Florida A&M University College of Law and was barred to practice law in the State of Florida in September 2016.
Shortly thereafter, Attorney DeLaine began her legal career with the Office of the Attorney General in Tallahassee, Florida as the legal representative of the Department of Revenue, whereas Attorney DeLaine specialized in the establishment, enforcement, disestablishment and modification of child support actions.
In 2018, Attorney DeLaine relocated back to Orlando, Florida to begin her career as a criminal prosecutor for the Orange County Ninth Judicial Circuit, gaining vast litigation and trial experience.
Attorney DeLaine has dedicated the last years of her legal career to aiding families throughout Florida with family law and criminal matters, including but not limited to paternity, divorce, child support and misdemeanor criminal charges. She strives to advocate for every individual in need of legal services, regardless of race, ethnicity and economic status.
Attorney DeLaine is currently a member of the Young Lawyer Association, Orange County Bar Association and is barred to practice in the Florida Middle District Bankruptcy Court.
